Buscopan has been used for more than half a century to relieve the discomfort of abdominal pain. Relief of spasm of the gastro-intestinal and genito-urinary tracts and in dysmenorrhoea/period pain and for the symptomatic relief of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
Adults: Period pain: 2 tablets 4 times daily, start 2 days before onset of period and continue for 3 days after menstruation has begun
IBS: 1 tablet 3 times daily increased up to 2 tablets 4 times daily if necessary
Children 6-12 years: 1 tablet 3 times daily
Not recommended under 6 years
