Videne Alcoholic Tincture

1. Active ingredient: Povidone-lodine USP 10.0% w/w (1% w/w available iodene).
   Other ingredients: Alkyl Phenol Ether Sulphate (Ammonium Salt), Industrial Methylated Spirit 95%, Citric Acid, Anhydrous Sodium Phosphate, Purified Water BP.

Videne Alcoholic Tincture is a broad spectrum antiseptic for topical use. It is indicated for quick drying pre-operative skin disinfection, particularly in orthopeadic surgery. Being coloured, it gives a useful delineation of the prepared area.
